PokéSurvivor collection, gacha and upgrades

Grow your collection through ticket pulls, rescued Pokémon and defeated wild shinies. Gacha uses nine separate regional banners, each with its own 5★ pity counter; permanent upgrades belong to the Pokémon you buy them for.

Unlock Pokémon and choose a partner

Your first partner comes from the introduction’s personality quiz. Open Collection to inspect owned Pokémon, filter what you are missing and choose an owned normal or shiny partner for the next run.

For a specific Pokémon, check its generation and use that region’s banner. The nine banners are Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar and Paldea. Each uses the Pokémon available in this game’s sprite-backed pool; a region label does not mean every species has an available playable sprite.

The full Pokédex provides individual Pokémon data. Unlocking a move evolution during a battle does not automatically unlock another Pokémon species.

Gacha rates, pity and ten-pull guarantees

Base rarity rolls

2★ Uncommon30%30 coins
3★ Rare17%60 coins
4★ Epic6.5%120 coins
5★ Legendary1.5%300 coins
  • 5★ pity: if that banner has not produced an earlier 5★, its 70th pull is guaranteed 5★. A 5★ resets the banner’s counter.
  • Separate regional counters: pulling in Kanto does not advance the Johto counter.
  • Ten pulls: a ×10 pull includes at least one 4★ or higher. If none appeared earlier in the batch, the final roll gets that guarantee.
  • Payment: one pull costs one normal ticket. A ×10 pull uses either ten normal tickets or one ×10 ticket, depending on the payment option you choose.

Pulls spend tickets, not coins or real money. If a rolled rarity has no available Pokémon in that regional pool, the game resolves to a nearby available rarity. Inspect the banner’s actual pool when targeting a rare Pokémon.

Shinies, rescue events and ticket routes

Gacha shinies: each pull has a 1% shiny roll when the selected Pokémon has a shiny sprite. Shiny ownership is stored separately and also grants ordinary ownership. When a rolled shiny is already owned, the game tries another missing shiny from that resolved rarity pool; if none remain, it resolves as a normal pull.

Wild shinies: defeat an available shiny encountered during a run to add it to the collection. Legendary rifts are another place to encounter a shiny legendary. The appearance rules differ from gacha, so do not apply the 1% pull rate to every wild enemy.

Lost Pokémon: touch the lost Pokémon, keep the escort route clear and lead it to the marked destination before the two-minute timeout. A successful rescue heals 50% of maximum health and gives coin and ticket rewards, with a 20% chance for the rescued Pokémon to join the collection.

Check daily and weekly missions before a run and claim completed rewards in the menu. Legendary drops, successful rescues and treasure thieves can supply tickets. A ticket route is an opportunity to complete, not a guaranteed ticket-per-minute income.

Spend coins on the Pokémon you will use

Permanent upgrades are stored per Pokémon. Select the intended partner before purchasing; improving one partner does not apply the same upgrade to every Pokémon in the collection. Coins earned from completed runs and duplicate pulls pay for these upgrades.

Later levels cost more. The purchase cost is the base cost multiplied by that upgrade’s growth factor, rounded to the nearest ten coins. Compare several planned levels with the upgrade planner before spending.

These purchases are not the run-stat cards needed for move evolution. A permanent Reflexes upgrade does not replace taking Reflexes during that run.

Protect the collection you have earned

Collection, shiny ownership, currency, banner counters and permanent upgrades use your account save. Let the cloud sync complete after important purchases and completed runs. Bind Google before clearing browser data or changing devices; an anonymous nickname alone cannot retrieve the collection.

Accounts and collections from pokesurvivor.com do not automatically transfer into this game’s separate save system. Keep that distinction in mind before signing into a different site or browser.
